The AFD project has been a great venture right from the beginning and what's made it so worthwhile and rewarding is the positive feedback we've received from all our loyal followers. That's why we're now so excited to announce the news you've all been so patiently waiting for - the Slash Signature AFD100 heads are now in production! The belts in our factory are rolling and we're busily building units so we can start despatching AFD's as soon as possible. Check out our photos direct from the factory floor here in Bletchley.

Posted 1 year ago by brickford @Jaydeanandcoke.. i agree big mistake but i almost cancelled mine too.. just got of the dog 'n' bone and the dealer says there are still many deposit allocations left so get in there quick, there will be a further delay but not through any fault of Marshall ....its due to the actual delivery companies and .. snow!!

Posted 1 year ago by brickford @Santiago ... curious! i am wondering since you are the head guy for creating this amp? does that mean you will be signing every amp yourself as per Jim Marshall long standing instructions/tradition that all employee have to sign the amps / cabs/ products they work on so that should it come back for repair or fault they can pin point who made it?

Posted 1 year ago by Matt_J Just cancelled my order at thomann as they couldn't tell me if they'll have all their preorders covered, ever... Then i preordered just now from a british store that's an hour from the factory and they could promise me they'd ship an amp to me as soon as they get their first batch. I don't mind waiting if i can just be sure to get one!

I could swear that I read a reply from Slash somewhere on this forum that stated this is not going to be a limited run amplifier.

Posted 1 year ago by brickford I agree that these amps may be proving harder to shift as they are a one trick pony amp that has slash style tones to it and of caurse there is just not enough money these days even if these are well priced. i predict that it'll take 2 years to sell all before we can bump the re-sale price to £2000

Playing a Vox will not make me sound like Brian May, nor will a Mesa Boogie make you sound like Carlos. Thinking about selling an amp before you actually own it is kind of funny..
